Happy Birthday

September 22, 2008-John Pelton-Criddle was born.  He weighed 8lbs 10oz he was 21 inches long and his head circumference was 15 inches.

He had a rough entrance into the world.  He was born naturally but during his birth he broke his right clavicle. :(

He received lots of loves from friends and family for the first 8 hours at the hospital in Pocatello, ID.  Around 4pm that evening we received news that John was having issues with his heart and he was going to be life flighted to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After arriving at Primary Children's we were informed that John has a condition known as ~Pulmonary Atresia with Intact Ventricular Septum with moderate to sever RV (Right Ventricle) Hypoplasia RV dependent sinusoids~

Basically this means that Johns heart on the right side doesn't work.  The right side of his heart is supposed to pump blood to the lungs.  Right now he is on medication that is keeping the artery open between the two sides of his heart so that he can get blood to his lungs.

This is a rare genetic disorder and John will need numerous surgeries to keep him alive.  John really needs a heart transplant but for the time being he needs to have smaller surgeries to keep his heart working to pump the blood to the lungs.

Here shortly John will need a blood transfusion and we need everyone to help us.  We need those of you who can donate blood to let us know.  You can email us at LittleJohn092208@gmail.com and we can give you further instructions.

Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes.
